"Wish I’d known they weren’t truly permit ready"
I bought these plans thinking we’d be able to send them straight to the city for approval, but that definitely wasn’t the case for us. The city came back asking for a lot more code details and engineering than what was included. We ended up having to pay someone local to make the changes, which I really wish we had known before buying. Maybe they work in some places, but for us they were not permit ready

"Plan details didn’t match up"
The house plan looked good at first, but once we got the full files, a few of the description details didn’t really match. It wasn’t a complete disaster, but it was frustrating since we were trying to compare different options and make a decision. I also got transferred around when I tried to ask about it, which just made the whole thing more annoying. I wish the info had been double-checked before it was posted

"Renderings were close to the real thing"
The renderings ended up looking close, maybe like 80–90% of what I expected. Having the photos helped a lot too, since I could get a much better feel for how everything would actually look.

"Staff seemed a little unsure"
I asked a couple basic questions about making changes to a plan, and I got different answers depending on who I talked to. Everyone was polite enough, but it just didn’t feel like they really had the details down or were totally confident about it

"Nice plans, but the filter nonsense is annoying"
The house plans themselves are nice, but the search filters were a whole little headache. I’d pick what I wanted, then the filter gremlins would reset or still show me random stuff I didn’t ask for. It took way longer than it should’ve just to find something close to what I had in mind

"Not much wiggle room for changes"
I got one of the plans because I thought I’d be able to adjust a few things here and there, but it ended up feeling more limited than I expected. Maybe I missed something in the details, but even the changes I thought would be simple seemed to come with extra steps or added costs.

If you’re using the plan exactly as it’s shown, it might be totally fine. For what I was trying to do, though, it got frustrating quickly, and I really wish that had been more obvious before I checked out.

"Something felt off with the modification process"
The whole modification process just felt more frustrating than it needed to be. My gut feeling early on was that it was going to drag out, and unfortunately it did. It took forever, ended up costing more than I expected, and the communication was confusing along the way

"Slow turnaround and mixed answers"
The whole process took way longer than I expected. I kept thinking things would move along in a normal amount of time, but it just dragged on and on. What made it more frustrating was that whenever I asked for updates, I’d get different answers depending on who I talked to, so I never really knew what was going on. The plans themselves might be fine, but the lack of clear communication and the slow turnaround really didn’t work for me.

"Checkout was quick and easy"
I ordered a house plan from architecturaldesigns.com, and the checkout process was really smooth. It didn’t feel confusing or overly drawn out, which I appreciated.
The site let me review everything before I placed the order, and my payment went through without any issues. I’ve used sites where checkout problems feel totally preventable, so it was nice not having to deal with any of that here.
I got the confirmation email right away too. Nothing went wrong on my end, so I’d definitely give the ordering process 5 stars

"Ended up costing more than I thought"
The designs are nice. No issue there. But the pricing felt higher than I expected. I thought more would be included. Or at least that the extras would be clearer. Once you start adding changes, it adds up fast. Not awful. Just didn’t feel like the best value for me.

I found a bunch of different styles quickly, so that made it feel like there were more good options. I didn’t look at every single one, but since I found some fast, I figured the selection must be solid

"Felt let down after paying"
I wasn’t really happy with the layouts. Once I paid, I started feeling like I couldn’t fully trust the process anymore because the plans came back looking sloppy and cramped. It didn’t feel like much care was put into them.

"Support kind of disappeared after I paid"
I bought the plans and had a few follow-up questions afterward, but getting help was a pain. Replies took a long time, and when they did come in, they weren’t really useful. It felt like once they had my money, support stopped being a priority, which is frustrating, to say the least

"Plans arrived fine, but the emails could’ve been clearer"
I ordered a house plan and got the download link quickly. The files opened without any problems, and thankfully I didn’t have to chase anyone down for access. My only little gripe is that the emails were kind of confusing at first, it felt like they could’ve made that part a bit more straightforward. Still, overall it was a good experience for digital delivery

"Had everything we needed"
The plans were really detailed and covered everything we needed. I didn’t feel like anything was missing, and adding more would’ve been unnecessary

"Plan options were harder to understand than expected"
I had a hard time figuring out which plan package was actually right for me. There were so many add-ons that it started to feel confusing and a bit misleading. I was expecting clearer instructions or a more straightforward breakdown of what’s included before making a choice

"Really struggled with the floor plan tool??"
I tried using the floor plan tool and found it frustrating. It wasn’t very easy to figure out, and it felt like some basic details were just missing?? I kept wondering why simple things weren’t more straightforward

"Plans were okay, but not ideal for our build"
The plans looked fine at first glance, but in our case my builder had trouble finding some of the details he needed, and a few things seemed to be missing. Maybe they’d work better for a simpler project or a builder who’s used to this style of plan, but for us it led to a lot of back-and-forth emails. Overall, it wasn’t the smoothest experience.

"I had a frustrating experience with their..."
I had a frustrating experience with their customer service. I reached out with a few questions and then just kind of waited around with no real updates, which made me feel left in the dark. When they finally did reply, it seemed rushed and didn’t actually clear much up. I ended up having to keep chasing them for answers myself. For what they charge, I expected a lot better. I wouldn’t use them again.
